Moonlight Basin has three weather stations. The Jack Creek station is located on the ridgeline between Moonlight Basin and Big Sky. This station provides wind and temperature, readings from an elevation of 10000 feet. The Lookout station sits on Lookout Ridge and gives total snow depth, new snowfall. temperature, and relative humidity readings. This station is located at 9000 feet. The Madison station is located at Madison Village Base Area and provides air temperature and 24hr snowfall.
