Weakest snow in Bridger Range

There are two basic snow structures in the Bridger Range. One is a deeper snowpack that has a several thin layers of facets in the middle of the snowpack but these are not much of a concern. The other basic structure is shown in the photo. While these areas have adjusted to the weight of new snow, making avalanches less likely, this is a poor structure which keeps avalanches possible.
