Since yesterday morning the Bridger Range received 14” of low density snow, Hyalite got 6”, near Big Sky and West Yellowstone got 3-4”, and 1-2” fell near Cooke City. Yesterday wind was out of the northwest at 5-15 mph, and overnight wind shifted to the southeast-southwest. Temperatures are singles to low teens F this morning, and will reach low 20s F today. Wind will be 5-15 mph out of variable directions. Snow showers are expected through today with 4-8” possible near Bozeman and Big Sky, and 2-4” near Cooke City and West Yellowstone.

Snow totals vary widely this morning. There are 12” of new snow in Hyalite, 6-7” in the Bridgers, near Big Sky, and at Lionhead and 3-4” in the Taylor Fork and near Cooke City. Temperatures are in the single digits and teens F. North and west wind at 10-20 mph with gusts of 20-30 mph will continue today. High temperatures will be in the teens and 20s F. Snowfall will continue today and tonight with 6-10” near Bozeman and Big Sky and 3-5” near West Yellowstone and Cooke City by tomorrow morning.

At 6 a.m, there are a trace to 4” of new snow. Winds are 15-20 mph out of the southwest and west with gusts of 25-30 mph. Temperatures are in the teens this morning and will rise into the 20s and lows 30s F this afternoon. Moderate southwest and west winds will continue. Snowfall will pick up through the day. Expect 2-4” by sunset in most of the advisory area and potentially up to 8” near Big Sky. By tomorrow morning, accumulations will be 12-18” in the Bozeman and Big Sky areas, with 4-8” near West Yellowstone and Cooke City.

This morning, mountain temperatures are in the teens F with 5-15 mph wind from the south to northwest, and there is no new snow. Today, clouds will gradually increase, temperatures will be in the upper 20s to low 30s F and the winds will be 10-20 mph from the west to southwest. The mountains will receive a trace to 2” of snow by morning, with a more potent storm arriving tomorrow.

In the last 24 hours the mountains received an inch of snow. Current temperatures are 10 F and wind is light at 5-10 mph out of the northeast. Today will be partly sunny with temperatures rising into the mid 20s F. Wind will remain light and switch to the southwest tonight. Around West Yellowstone and Cooke City clouds will increase this afternoon and 2-3” are expected by morning.

This morning, mountain temperatures are in the teens F. The mountains near Cooke City received 7” of snow in the last 24 hours, with 3-5” across the rest of the advisory area. Winds at Lionhead Ridge are 15-25 mph from the southwest. Winds are 5-15 mph elsewhere. Today, temperatures will be in the 20s F with 5-15 mph winds from the southwest, and 1-3” of snow will fall.

This morning there is 1” of new snow near West Yellowstone and none elsewhere. Temperatures are teens to low 20s F. Wind is out of the south-southwest at 5-20 mph with gusts of 25-35 mph, and in the Bridger Range wind is out of the southeast-east. Today, temperatures will reach high 20s to low 30s F, and wind will be out of the southwest-southeast at 5-25 mph. Snowfall is expected through today with 3-4” possible by this evening and another 2-4” overnight.
